Instead of investing in hardware, look at the Microsoft Azure portion. A much underrated portion of Microsoft’s cloud. Virtual servers can be created, a test lab or environment can be run. Hosted databases and even a DR (Disaster Recovery) replication can be ready, same day!
Not only are we cloud specialists, we are also great at maintaining on premise infrastructure such as servers, firewall and networking, backups and recovery but also user support.
Fiber Optic Internet
Fiber optic internet is a different class of internet. It does not function in the same manner as the common coax or ADSL connections. Should you upload content at a regular rate, or host a service in your infrastructure or for any other reason need a stable and equal upload and download speeds, this is your solution.
This is the most popular and the most loaded question and one that can never be answered with 100% certainty. There are different phases of this question.
What I can say is that there an increased certainty of security when using Microsoft’s cloud. Best practices and procedures can be leveraged to ensure a greater security of data. Should something happen, the rate of recovery increases.
Data that is stored in the Microsoft cloud is a very secure area. Because of Microsoft’s data availability promise, it ensures that there is no loss of data due to hardware failure. Also, the physical location of Microsoft’s data center guarded by security that requires a process just to get to the physical servers.
Another very popular question and I shall explain how it is done. Backups in the traditional sense are done through a software configured to do it in a point in time and often multiple times a day. On the Microsoft cloud SharePoint Online, once a file has been saved in your SharePoint team site, it has been per se stamped. From here, every time you save a file or upload an updated file onto SharePoint Online and overwrite the older version, Microsoft keeps a record of the older version of the file. This service is called Versioning. This will allow you to go back in time of your file and recover it.
Should a file be accidentally deleted the file can be recovered since SharePoint Online has a recycling bin that keeps the deleted file for a maximum of 90 days.
There is nothing further from the truth. Microsoft’s cloud welcome’s business of all sizes and offers all businesses the exact same services.
Being in the cloud, while small and should expansion be on the horizon, it is so much easier and less expensive to expand your business because huge budgets don’t have to be allocated for your growth.
On another note, it is so much easier budgeting your growth because you already know the numbers.
A tenant creation does not take very long at all, within the day all of your Office 365 services are up and running.
Using the cloud fully will depend on migration time frame. This will be determined on the project plan timelines
Office 365 is a monthly subscription-based licensing on a per user basis. There are multitude of licenses and packages offered by Microsoft’s cloud services. Together, we will decide the right licensing to be applied for all users.
